Joanna qualified as a physiotherapist, gaining a BSc (hons) in Physiotherapy at Kings Colllege University, in 2002.
Since qualifying Joanna has worked for Bromley Hospitals NHS Trust where she became a senior physiotherapist specialising in musculoskeletal outpatients, treating a range of acute and chronic conditions. Joanna then moved into the private sector working at various physiotherapy clinics where she continued to develop her skills and knowledge, including completing a course in western acupuncture.
Joanna became a certified APPI Pilates Instructor in 2006 and has the experience of teaching Pilates on a 1:1 level and class setting. Joanna has a special interest in assessing and treating abnormal movement patterns through the Pilates approach, bridging the gap between physiotherapy and Pilates. Joanna also has the experience of treating clients in the hydrotherapy setting working in the NHS and private sector.
